CS 1095 Kiridashi
CS 1095 Kiridashi
This kiridashi-style knife started with a small piece of leftover 1095. The steel was too thick and yet too narrow for a proper handle, so I improved with thumb jimping and a hand-woven wax cord with a katalox hardwood bead.
The surface was treated with a heavy ferric chloride etch to render a dark and protective oxide etch.
