CS 1080 Neck Knife
CS 1080 Neck Knife
A small piece of scrap 1080 steel reimagined as a chunky knife.
This small yet capable knife sports hollow ground bevels and perma-blue oxide coating for resistance to moisture and light corrosion.
Features homemade paper and fiberglass micarta scales in a yellow-orange-red-orange pattern and nickel silver pins.
My favorite aspect of this piece is how much it reflects my personality. The steel was scrap. The handles are made from construction paper, fiberglass resin, and mica powder. It is imperfect, improvised, and random.
I love everything about it.
