File Knife Heavy Duty
File Knife Heavy Duty
Even for a shorter knife, this is one of the heaviest I have made thus far. The Nicholson file was about 5/16” thick with large, deep teeth.
The resulting patterns on the spine are quite striking against the smoke grey liners and Purpleheart wood scales. This knife also features my first attempt at adding real contours to the scales. In this case, I was leaning in the direction of a "coke bottle" shape.
The hardware is composed of 5/16” brass tubes.
