This is probably my favorite knife thus far.
I had the idea for a series of no-nonsense stainless steel knives when I started working with AEB-L in late 2019. Because my creativity gets the best of me, I shelved that idea in favor of tinkering with endless permutations of different shapes.
Anyway, I dusted off the original idea and sought to create a simple knife that nails the little details while avoiding unnecessary and extravagant design whims.
The blade on this knife uses 1/8” thick AEB-L with a textbook saber grind and drop point. The interesting part is the handle. Black G10 liners cradle a combo of black micarta and sweet padauk with shiny nickel-silver pins.
Everything about this knife screams “put me to work!”.
